Pros

- Consistent in processes. - Work life balance. - Do strong homework before deliverable task.

Cons

- Poor onboarding. - if a resource is on boarded on the project he will get blame for consuming another resource time for understanding domain of task. - If a new resource do the task by his own understanding he will blame for spending too much time on it. - Most of the employees are part time and they don't feel good when somebody ask them anything. - Bad communication. - Poor code quality just by using cutting edge technologies doesn't make project successful. - In-depth knowledge of technologies is missing in resources which will make knowledgeable guy suffer. - Using technologies by not reading documentation. - Good freelancers turned Typical freelancers.

We are sorry to read that your onboarding experience was not up to our standards. We thank you for the feedback and we already have done some improvements that can work in favour of improving the experience for the Members: - We have hired a Head of Practice for Mission Central. The objective is to implement good practices for Squad Leads and Tech Leads to succeed in their missions, in collaboration with the Members. - —> All our Leads now go on a “mission onboarding training” prior to the mission to start or prior to their assignment to ensure they know their role and responsibilities towards the team, towards the client and to ensure the mission’s success - —> Each Lead is responsible for onboarding their team Members and walk them through the process. - We have separated the vetting process to be part of the Network and the vetting process to be part of a mission. The objective is to have a general assessment based on the knowledge of the main skills of an engineer, and then, a specific assessment based on the knowledge of the skills required to succeed on the mission. - Thanks to adding a Talent Success Specialist to our team, when a Member is not comfortable on a mission, they can reach out to our Talent Success Specialist and we will start our process to ensure a smooth transition to a new mission. This is a free resource we offer to all of our assigned members. Thank you for putting a lot of effort in providing us with constructive feedback. We want to hear more about it, we encourage you to reach out to our Talent Success Specialist.

Pros

Access to well-known companies and technically interesting projects. The onboarding process itself is relatively smooth, and the platform has good visibility in the contractor market.

Cons

The main issue is expectation setting and transparency. Projects are presented as ongoing engagements, but in practice can end abruptly due to budget decisions with little to no prior warning. In my case, the project ended after a very short period, despite being framed as a regular role with no clear end date. As a contractor, this has a significant professional and financial impact, especially when there is no early signal that a project is at risk.
