Needs Improvement - Executive Assistant Mizuho Financial Group Employee Review

Pros

Predictable 9-5 schedule for the most part, can choose the one day per week you want to work from home. If you get placed with a good team then you'll enjoy it a lot more.

Cons

Salary is below market for mid-level and senior-level EA's. Raises and bonuses are small. You could get assigned to a team where the MD's needs are extremely high and they will not match the salary for it. Issues with difficult teams or MD's are covered up by either firing or moving their EA to another team. While the one day per week to WFH is a benefit, it isn't competitive with other firms who've adopted 3/2 hybrid to promote a good work/life balance. Need to work there six years to get more than 15 days PTO. Culture is lacking along with some aspects of diversity.
