Pros
Close to home, literally the only pro of the job.
Cons
On my first week i was training other people to do extrusion, which at this location was a really technical job. We had other extruders come in that had 20 years of experience and say that the job was too difficult and they were asking for too much. I was continually told if i continued to perform and train people i would be rewarded with greater compensation when they made me a job offer(i was working through a temp agency). When the time came for them to make me an offer they offered me $1 less than what i was currently making. I thought maybe i did something wrong so i asked my co workers what they were offered as well. Turns out that is the standard operating procedure at this company, to promise people compensation for excellent work but when the time came to compensate us they refused to. They took away all the chairs and replaced them with tiny stools that made my legs go numb when i sat in them and when i asked them why they took the chairs away my supervisor said " you guys looked too comfortable" I would avoid this employer at all costs.
