Pros

Clients and teams are very collaborative. A diverse clientele enables you to gain dynamic experience. The company has been remote since the pandemic. Freedom from the stress of commute is greatly appreciated. Overtime pay is shouldered by the client.

Cons

The work culture is poor, non-existent, and toxic. Upper management used to shoulder HR functions. There are times when suggestions even from the employees with the longest tenure are left ignored. Very high turnover rate, only a select few have stayed long. Salaries and government contributions are delayed, the latter can go for months. Frequent overtime, basically every day. Upper management doesn't necessarily care about your career growth; consider it a win to have a good team leader who champions you. The salary increase is grossly paltry; poorly trained HR almost took away the increase altogether.

Pros

- Great roster of clients that help you gain experience as a writer with different clients providing new challenges

Cons

- Late payment that can be delayed up to a week - Unpaid government contributions - Toxic management that doesn't care about career growth, is poorly trained, is hypocritical, makes false promises, and gaslights employees - HR is difficult to communicate with and responds very late - Project Managers are clearly poorly trained, lack creative ideas, are very vague in their instructions, and barely coordinate with other employees - Salary is NOT up to par the workload they give and the skills they demand - Difficulty requesting vacation leaves - Management fails to properly delegate tasks evenly across its workforce - Management fails to communicate deadlines with other employees
