Pros

The team is energetic and supportive. There is real flexibility in how you structure your work. You get to collaborate with brilliant people across the business. Internal mobility is strong and there are many career paths to explore. The education bonus and wider benefits package are excellent.

Cons

Quarter end can bring irregular hours due to the pace of the business. The organisation is highly dynamic, which may feel challenging at times although I enjoy the constant learning. The most noticeable drawback is the frequent movement and restructuring within middle management.

Pros

Awesome culture, incredibly smart and driven people, top of the market product, great pay

Cons

Definitely a grind, as with most sales jobs. Territory can be a make or break. Pretty long path to become an AE compared to some BDR roles - that said this is where you want to be as an AE.

Pros

If you have great Core AEs, you get to do the fun part of sales which is selling. The product is good and we are constantly evolving our product. Salesforce install base and name recognition helps get you a lot of at bats.

Cons

SMB culture can be draining. There is less emphasis on being a strategic product expert and more on volume based selling. This may be where the business needs to go, but logging every minute of your day, being a great co prime, and functioning as a BDR is tough. There are also a lot of stellar performers and others on the exact same team who may have closed nothing.
