Pros

The market is pushing MuleSoft to succeed. Investments by key companies like SFDC, ServiceNow, SAP, Cisco are all great indicators. MuleSoft also provides a very valuable solution that can withstand market fluctuation or busts. Management team has run high growth companies before.

Cons

Lot of internal meetings about meetings repeating the same content. Typical rigor for a company at this stage, but with all the talent within management you would think they could come up with a more streamlined process. Also, lots of business 101 training "enablement" meetings that are a big waste of time/money. These cons are small considering the huge opportunity at MuleSoft.

Pros

If you have great Core AEs, you get to do the fun part of sales which is selling. The product is good and we are constantly evolving our product. Salesforce install base and name recognition helps get you a lot of at bats.

Cons

SMB culture can be draining. There is less emphasis on being a strategic product expert and more on volume based selling. This may be where the business needs to go, but logging every minute of your day, being a great co prime, and functioning as a BDR is tough. There are also a lot of stellar performers and others on the exact same team who may have closed nothing.
