Working for a fund owned company means never having to share in any profit. give backs are lip service. pay is low for type of company, and with ownership by Vista, all departments are more and more metrics driven. lack of room for creativity unless you can save a few minutes, dollars or both. there feels like an us vs. them theme within - management vs employees. seems like the exec management gets to share in the great success, but the workers don't really. Seems like all management does is focus on short term, and there is always desperation in the monthly meetings - as if the lights will be turned off any moment, which is not true since we are turning in record numbers. Lack of culture of everyone pitching in, it is more of "I don't do that because it is not in my job description". utter reliance on internal case and reporting so you never know where to turn for help on what could be a quick question/answer.
