Pros

Amazing teams with a some leaders that genuinely care. If you only want a job and don't expect any loyalty, dedication, or a market wage, it's not a bad career jumping off point.

Cons

Since BC Partners acquired the bulk of the company it's been a pretty steady downward slide. NAVEX used to be a family company, with compassionate leaders and one that did the right things right. Now, the only thing that matters is profit. Over work/life balance, over employee loyalty, over ethics. Bob Colin navigated the CEO waters with grace and dignity and never would have let this company become the disgrace it now is. Layoffs happen at least quarterly if not monthly, but are never communicated. Employees that given their lives to the company are tossed aside like yesterday's news. There used to be a culture of protecting people, product, and reputation. Now it is outsourcing and profit. I used to recommend this company to anyone I could, but now I'd recommend you find work elsewhere if you can. Some of the managers are truly amazing, the issues definitely stem from the C-Suite, Board, and some VPs.

Pros

Team Culture Flexible Schedule (hybrid model) Entry level pay is great

Cons

The position that was presented during the hiring process was not the position that was ultimately delivered. Employees have very little influence over organizational decisions; the prevailing message is to either accept ongoing changes or move on. The company sets exceptionally high performance expectations but does not appear to fully recognize how constant organizational changes, limited job security, frequent separations and internal restructuring, and unmet commitments can directly impact employees' ability to succeed. These factors create significant obstacles to achieving the standards the company expects.
