All the gear, no idea. - Photo Studio NEXT Employee Review

A million miles off how a real in-house photo studio should be operated, especially for a giant like Next. The elephant in the room is that the main operation is run from Enderby (Leicester), meaning most people who work within the studio are Next-lifers, having never worked anywhere else other than here. There is a constant revolving door of staff coming and going (planning, stylists, retouchers, photographers etc) as the talent pool gets watered down year on year. Add to this the nepotism of management, with senior photo studio management coming from other teams across head office with no real knowledge of photo studio operations (creative and production wise) leading to a void in real leadership.
