Pros
these aren’t really pros but are the benefits 25% staff discount, staff shop and staff sale, on-site parking at Enderby, good subsidised restaurants, Christmas parties were epic, mostly a great bunch of people
Cons
Very clicky - it’s not what you know it’s who you know, internal politics between departments, lack of progression opportunities with roles having no route of progression, leadership and management very micromanagement, very hierarchical, no flexible working in some departments, high expectations to consistently over perform with pay not reflective, pay rises and promotions hard to come by even with over performance, some areas prevent you moving roles internally if they don’t want to lose you, no development or training opportunities, no personal development support, expectation to go in office regularly as a mandate, salary is not competitive and capped within a band
