Pros

Exciting industry to be in & inspiring vision for the company. The end goal for the product will be a game changer for businesses tracking emissions.

Cons

I was extremely disappointed with the direction the company took over the past year. The sales team had limited support from the rest of the company, there were constant management changes with little explanation and nonexistent training or enablement. It seemed like the people that spoke up or gave feedback were the ones punished. Restructuring, leadership turnover, and frequent shifts in priorities created a highly unstable work environment. Instead of providing stability and a clear path forward, these changes resulted in confusion and inefficiency. Frustrating hypocrisy when the leadership team says they value diversity & inclusion, yet the entire new sales team was recruited from the same company.

Pros

Great Managers: The managers at nZero genuinely cared about their teams. They provided support, guidance, and were always approachable, making the work environment more pleasant despite other challenges. Unlimited PTO: The company offered unlimited paid time off, which was a fantastic benefit. It allowed for a good work-life balance and flexibility when it came to taking time off. Training: nZero provided thorough training when onboarding new employees. They ensured that everyone was well-prepared for their roles, which helped in performing the job effectively from the start.

Cons

Poor Communication: The company's communication was abysmal. Important information was often not shared with employees, leading to confusion and frustration. Decisions were made without consulting or informing the team, which significantly impacted our ability to perform our jobs effectively. Lack of Transparency: The company was not transparent with its plans or direction. There were frequent changes in strategy and priorities without any clear communication about the reasons behind them. This lack of transparency created an atmosphere of uncertainty and mistrust among employees.
