Pros
30% discount although management usually doesn't let you use it on the high end nice merchandise when we first get it, flexible with my school schedule, don't have much to do most of the time because business is slow
Cons
unrealistic sales goals, management always on everyone's ass to collect customers contact information emails, addresses, phone numbers... if you don't get 85% of customers info that you check out management will B#$ch you out at your monthly review... most people that work there now just take it off customers drivers licenses without them knowing when they check for id's on credit cards... management always pushing sales associates to sell, but with no customers in the store and no good merchandise it's kinda hard. it doesn't seem like there's much opportunity to move up... all the managers at the store have been in the same position for the past 5-8 years and don't seem like they're going anywhere anytime soon... some employees started off full time and have voluntarily cut their own hours just because the store atmosphere created by management is so depressing and negative... the customers for the most part are alright but if you work here be prepared to have some real piece of S#$% customers in there that are stingy and want everything for free and will yell at you when you check them out and everything isn't 70% off... there's lots of people like this that come there that want the "Neiman's" life style and don't want to pay for it
