Pros
There are some genuinely fantastic people who work there and if you are lucky, you will learn a lot from them. On site Barista (can I give her 5 stars?) That’s it. That’s all I can think of.
Cons
Pretty much everything else. If you have a serious concern (like claims of bullying or harassment), it will get swept under the rug, usually by People & Culture. While some managers are genuinely committed to the success of their team, others go out of their way to undermine them (usually as publicly as possible, with no evidence to back themselves up and limited to no understanding of the facts). The environment is toxic and has caused genuine harm to peoples mental health. And it gets ignored as being that persons problem instead of signs of a deeper issue. Don’t believe the hype about “work/life balance” or “flexible working arrangements”. If your manager doesn’t like you, no matter the quality of your work or how hard you work, it won’t happen for you. And all the free fruit and coffee in the world will not make up for how underpaid you are.
