Pros

I started working as a Mortgage Banker at One Reverse San Diego in 2017. The first thing I noticed was the support for the employees. I was told that the company treats their staff and work environment like the “Google of Mortgage Companies” and after my first couple of months I realized that this was indeed accurate. In addition to the litany of in office perks, One Reverse Mortgage sponsored and paid for all of my licenses and provided me additional licensing that I would have not had otherwise. In turn this has provided me a ton of opportunities. To be honest I am even busier than what I was expecting coming in. I am inundated on a daily basis with more leads/business than I have ever had and this has expedited success for me as a Mortgage Banker. This is a very good thing. Plus management is really supportive in developing your skills to succeed. I am certain that with the tools, training, and resources available anyone fortunate enough to get hired on at the ORM San Diego office will succeed. One last thing is that I have never felt like coming to work is a chore as the company is really generous with everything including PTO and the work/life balance. I know that I have the flexibility to take time off as needed. In fact, it is actually encouraged. To me that says it all. I would definitely recommend working as a Mortgage Banker at ORM if you want to jumpstart a long and successful banking career.
