Pros

The salary seems better than elsewhere but for the amount of hours you work and the level of responsibility it amounts to nothing

Cons

Pay attention to the negative reviews and avoid!! This company hires young people because older people don’t put up with the kind of treatment you get here. Working til 11pm is normal and your workload will always be undoable. Really unhealthy drinking culture and leadership often crosses the line in terms of discussing your personal life. Mental health is not cared about and struggles are even mocked. Someone else wrote here about narcissistic leadership and it’s absolutely true, they like to publicly berate and humiliate people. Expect to see people crying in the bathroom from stress and anxiety. Even if this seems like a good opportunity it’s not worth it for the toll it will take on you. If you’re reading this and you’re still there remember you can leave! Anywhere else is better

Pros

Some of the junior members are really friendly and great at their jobs.

Cons

Senior management is awful, they do not know how to lead or give feedback constructively. With comments such as 'this is a mess' or 'this is the worst report I have ever read' and following up with 'fix it' and no clear instructions on how to. The founders pride themselves on LinkedIn for promoting “wellbeing” and “doing the right thing”, but in reality their actions are far from that. Hands down the worst culture I’ve ever experienced.

Pros

This is a great place to work as a graduate or as someone who didn’t go to uni but wants a career in the digital marketing industry. The best thing about OneFifty apart from the team is the amount of opportunities you’re exposed to to develop your own skill sets, from SEO, data analytics to social media marketing - the skills you learn at One Fifty will set you up for your whole career as a marketer. You’ll be exposed to a really wide range of clients in different industries and it’s great how they vary what accounts you work on so you get to see it all. Whatever direction peaked my interest when I worked here, from setting up paid ads to copywriting, management at OF made sure that I was offered the opportunities I needed to learn more about it, hands on and with support. I made friends for life working at One Fifty and without working there I’d never be as confident or adaptable as I feel I am now - I’d genuinely recommend to anyone interested in marketing to try and start your career at OF.

Cons

No matter what company you work in digital marketing for, the fast paced nature of the industry can be challenging at times when working with multiple clients - this definitely doesn’t outweigh the reward you reap for the experience though.
