Pros

Nice building, free coffee, fun company events. Fast paced environment with cool tech.

Cons

CEO has history of verbally abusing employees including personal attacks and swear words. Also stokes his ego by belittling employees in front of customers. Also attacks customers behind their backs, attacking their intelligence, physical appearance or their company in general. Unethical behaviours any time money is involved: bill customers when they shouldn't, screw employees out of quarterly bonuses, and beating up vendors and underpaying them. People are treated like cogs in a machine for making money, not valued resources. Key resources are burning out and upper leadership doesn't care. Mantra is still "work harder, work more". Work- life balance is terrible. Company lacks a shared vision, which results in divisions constantly battling with each other. Upper leadership believes this competition between teams is healthy, so unlikely to change. Very little opportunity for advancement. Complete lack of training for new hires. Pay is not competitive. Benefits get worse every year and cost the employee more. Overall, a very toxic place to work.

Pros

A Really great, relaxed culture. Understands value of remote work. Work life balance is a core value as far as I can tell. Paradigm has one thing that very few companies have which is they do genuinely reward and recognize people who put effort forward and care with further opportunities and compensation.

Cons

The pay is middling for this type of job but the low level of stress + culture of rewarding effort can mitigate that. Raises are not amazing but if you shine you can get promoted to a better role and pay bracket.

Pros

Company culture as a whole. Many of the long time employees are recognized and valued greatly by management and HR.

Cons

A lot of changes quickly that will most likely come back and bite them. New leadership is so AI and technology focused that they are skipping crucial steps. Tons of restructuring and getting rid of quality people because they staffed them in roles that they seem "redundant" now.
