Pros

- Great starting salary with great potential to earn

Cons

- Inconsistent support from team manager I was told several times after starting out that my manager would only go along on what they referred to as "good" appointments. While I understand where they were coming from, it was also frustrating as a new employee to not receive the support I felt was needed especially in the beginning. - Office politics Office politics and gossip were common at my office and some of the more senior reps seemed to even take pride in being rude and unhelpful to new reps. I was even told by one "I don't even get to know new reps until they've made it six months." Not a supportive culture in my office by any means. - Favoritism I was hired at the same time as another rep. During our time there, our manager accompanied this new rep on nearly 3x the number of appointments per capita than with me. This new rep was also given a much more lucrative, urban business district than I was.

Paycom provides significant resources and time on training and developing our sales team, which includes nearly two months of new hire training. We hope you took the opportunity to address these concerns with your manager, as we are unable to make changes or look into the matter further because you did not disclose your location in your anonymous post. We do appreciate feedback when it is given in a constructive manner that allows for changes to occur. Best of luck.

Pros

The work we do is challenging but is satisfying. $4 dollar lunches are great and I enjoy the people and managers I work with. We have gone through changes, but the changes are worth it and the tools we are provided keep us successful. The salary is great and top level, highly recommend working here if you love a challenge. I promise you’ll never be bored.

Cons

The workload and hours can be heavy at times, but the long-term gratification is worth it. Paycom is about long-term investment, and it requires patience and perseverance but it’s worth it, if you are strong enough.

Pros

* Fast learning and professional skill growth. * Great people and strong teams. * Recognized name in the OKC community. * Valuable experience that strengthens future career opportunities, especially in Tech.

Cons

Over the past couple of years, career growth has felt extremely limited. Promotions and meaningful raises have become increasingly rare, and many employees believe these decisions are being driven from the very top. Layoffs and terminations have also become common, creating a constant sense of uncertainty. High performers often take on high-visibility projects with aggressive timelines and limited support. The expectations are unrealistic, and even successful delivery doesn’t usually lead to recognition or advancement. Leadership tends to make decisions very late, creating unnecessary urgency and forcing teams into last-minute scrambles. Benefits have declined, opportunities for advancement have become scarce, and overall morale has suffered significantly. There are talented people here and it can be a good place to gain experience, but I would view it primarily as a stepping stone rather than a long-term destination.
