Pros
- Previously great WFH options (till 2024) - Company is a household name - Highly employable technology stack (Java, Spring, React)
Cons
- Horrible work-life balance (working till 9PM-12AM) - Deployments happen at ~10 PM once every week, sometimes multiple times if urgent feature is required. - Non-streamlined end-to-end testing. If feature takes 1 hour to write code for, end-to-end testing will take 5-6 hours. - Layoff scares all the time. - Poor appraisals.
