Score Leadership made massive sweeping changes to the entire PI org. and our processes. The Director level was completely overran and replaced by members of the Score without a full vetting of roles and responsibilities. Agile was completely dropped and replaced with a PMO structure by a leadership team with no prior experience working alongside Agile Coaches and Scrum Masters. New leadership is very much top-down, do as I say. During the transition to the Scores leadership team, PI Leaders were kept in the dark about most decisions and put on the bench in order to reduce possible tension and disagreement. What made PI great was the opportunity to have healthy debates and drive change. That has been seemingly lost in this transformation as we now have to follow orders from the top with minimal transparency and reason. Deadlines are created without the use of metrics or team history, and engineers are pushed to the brink in order to meet these false deadlines time and time again.
