Pros

The little pros we did have are now taken away by TheScore leadership.

Cons

Penn bought out TheScore and somehow TheScore took over the entire company. This company used to be an amazing place to work, and now it’s hard to even find motivation to show up. The culture here was amazing before TheScore takeover. We have lost most of our genuine employees due to this merge and TheScore doesn’t care at all. We used to have monthly Uber eats credits, office massages, and mental health days, but TheScore has gotten rid of all of those. Which is funny because they’re still listed under all job listings. How are you going to lie to potential new employees? They do not care about their employees at all - we’re just a number to them now. It’s extremely saddening to see how fast this company has declined since Jon Kaplowitz left. Wish we never bought out TheScore because it has ruined working here for all Penn employees. This company went from feeling like a close family environment, to a very hostile corporate place to work. Instead of making changes to help with employee morale, they just get rid of the ones who complain. Would not recommend getting a job here

As an increasingly important part of PENN’s overall business, our interactive division continues to expand, develop and evolve along with the rapidly growing online betting industry. Bringing together our immensely talented interactive teams across theScore and PENN Interactive into a new organizational structure has best positioned us for long term success, and has created additional opportunities for our team members. While we’ve experienced tremendous growth over the past few years, maintaining a supportive, open and inclusive work culture has always been a priority.
