- lots of ownership and responsibility early on in your career - ability to see impact of your work on a daily basis - lots of management experience since you get to manage a cross-functional team
Cons
- can be stressful / long hours - it is difficult to work from home as a Product Manager because your team works less efficiently when you aren't there
