Pros

Offers strong remuneration and employment conditions relative to the local market (Only because of the EBA). Roles provide exposure to large scale, complex infrastructure programs with material community impact across the Northern Territory. There are opportunities to work with committed technical specialists and to build experience in regulated utility environments.

Cons

Executive leadership lacks clarity and consistency in strategic direction. Decision making is slow, fragmented, and often reversed, creating uncertainty and rework across the organisation. This leads to poor prioritisation, limited accountability, and a challenging operating environment that undermines delivery outcomes and workforce confidence.

They cannot make decisions. Too many get kicked upstairs to people who don't actually know what they are doing. They are slow Some long term employees just don't care Roles and responsibilities are not clear
