Pros

Work life balance is decent Some solid coworkers

Cons

Base pay is low and incentive is inconsistent month to month Management likes to gaslight and say you did things you didn’t and when you defend yourself HR takes managements side Everyone is miserable, unhappy and toxic Constant changes to pay, duties of roles and territories make it hard to get used to doing a consistent job More than half of employees are on performance improvement plans Toxic office environment including constant gossiping, talking about colleagues behind their back, bashing the company and other toxic behaviors No team building exercises or events and when you bring it up you’re told company can’t afford it yet they pay to bring employees into town and let them get wasted on the companies dime No career growth opportunities they will say they have plans, but there are no jobs above you once you get to a certain point you’ll need to grow outward not upward No diversity most of the employees are white

Pros

I truly enjoyed my time at Procare. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Joining this organization for a brief time was one of the best experiences I've had.

Cons

The pay is low and most work a hybrid schedule.

Pros

I appreciate the mission, the talented people here, and the impact our software has on schools, daycares, families, and educators. There is a lot to be proud of in the work itself.

Cons

A recent policy change requires employees who take parental leave to return to work for six months or repay the leave compensation they received. As a current employee, I think future parents should know this upfront because it adds financial pressure during an already vulnerable time. It feels especially ironic at a company whose software directly serves children, families, and educators. It also feels out of step with the direction many strong tech employers are moving in, with more generous parental leave and family support.
