Pros
- Flexible hours. I work part-time and can set my working hours to any time of the day. I won't necessarily get those hours because it depends on when classes are scheduled, but I generally get classes in my desired hours. If I need a day off for an appointment, it's very easy to contact my supervisor.
- Super friendly environment. My supervisor is great. They let me know if I make an error but I've never been chewed out, felt disrespected, or micromanaged.
- Easy to get help. There are dedicated chats for monitors, tech support, and more. Help is literally a message away.
- Low stress. Because there is a team available to help if something goes wrong, it's much less stressful. The work involves a bit of multi-tasking but isn't difficult overall.
- You get to watch language classes. You don't always get to learn from them as sometimes you'll have four class simultaneously, but they're enjoyable to watch.
Cons
- Limited hours. Currently, full-time is not available for monitors and part-time hours are limited to what is available.
