Pros

They are a great salesman and will get you to like the company but be warned it's a ruse. If there is something that he doesn't like (whether it makes sense or not) he won't let you know and just be passive aggressive.

Cons

Exceptionally passive aggressive. It is impossible to expect someone to know everything and then give them no time to learn the "new" thing. 'Ohh, a new technology came out last week and you're not an SME yet?!' (let the brow beating begin); it is just plain rude and gives credence to all the other negative reviews! Also, their benefits are absolutely abysmal and the pay is nothing to write home about.

Pros

I've worked at Protocol Networks as an account manager for over 10 years. I've been here to see us grow from a small company of 10 employees with a handful of clients to an organization with hundreds of clients and an ever growing staff. In my years here, my colleagues have become family and in my experience, the executive management has treated us as such. I was a full time employee during the recession of 2008 and while many other firms needed to lay off staff, Protocol Networks executives made sure that none of their employees lost their jobs or missed a paycheck. Our engineering staff is top notch with most of them being in the business over 15 years, which brings a rare level of talent to our customer base. While there may be larger firms out there, in my experience you'd be hard pressed to find a consulting firm with such focus to task and a commitment to both their staff and clients.

Cons

Due to the smaller, tight-knit structure of our company there is not ample opportunity for upward mobility. With that being said, executive management actively takes into account the employees' opinions with regard to changes made within the organization. At the end of the day, no company is perfect but Protocol Networks constantly strives to make as many improvements as it can both for employees and clients.
