Cons
Unrealistic work expectations. No one looks out for the Administrative staff. We have no voice at Corporate. They give you so many work duties. Financial Counselors are overworked and underpaid. They are required to do HR, Business Office work and assume Assistant Administrator duties in some cases. The work is overwhelming. They only look at numbers. The back flow of Medicaid pending applicants are excessive yet they hold FC's accountable knowing the state of Ga has complete control of that process. Admissions dept bring in high risk patients with no regard to the financial risk but because PRUITT is census driven they only care that a head is in the bed. Thus FC's are held responsible to clean up the aging or discharge the patient for non payment. It's a ridiculous revolving door. Financial Counselors are hard workers are deserve a higher salary. PAY US WHAT WE DESERVE!!!!
