Pros
As a district manager, you are in the field very few weekends, with nothing after 6pm.
Cons
Extreme micro-management of district managers. Daily conference calls intended to humiliate employees in front of each other. The executive team doesn't think that the buildings should be maintained or cleaned. Most of the customer related issue are avoidable if PS would just loosen the purse strings and let the DM fix the buildings as needed. The hourly employees have no chance of getting promoted and are payed a very low wage. This adds to the difficulty since there is nothing to motivate them to work. Extremely overpriced merchandise and forced to enforce used car salesman pushy sales approach or get fired. The last thing PS thinks about when making a decision is how it effects people. Won't even clean an apartment for an employee before they move in. This could be a great job if they would give two thoughts about people and not make every decision based on what's cheapest today.
