Pros
•autonomy •management doesn't typically micromanage •independent work environment •depending on the location lots of down time •work day always ends at 6 •property apartment available at some locations
Cons
•they do not pay enough •management doesn't do enough to provide a work environment that is safe for your mental or physical health •example-physical health: mold in building hallways & taking years to treat it while still expecting you to work in this space despite the fact that breathing in that air is harmful for your lungs •example-physical health: there is only one manager at most properties at all times leaving you vulnerable to physical danger in certain situations •example-mental health: verbally abusive tenants are still allowed to come back to property with no repercussions •management doesn't usually take your complaint of about an abusive customer seriously •managers will lie about company policy to get you to comply •do no move on property because management will attempt to pressure you to do things because you live on site •management will definitely throw you under the bus so keep a paper trail, notes, and record conversation whenever possible
