Pros

Kind and supportive supervisors and co workers. Work is easy, most customer's are friendly.

Cons

Back to back calls all day without a moment to breath other than your two 15 minute breaks and lunch. I've worked many remote jobs and QVC is by far the most stressed I've ever been working remotely for a company. Waking up at 7 in the morning to sit at my computer taking back to back calls my entire shift. I had to take a leave of absence just to cope from the stress this job does to one's mental health along with severe burnout. Would not recommend for those looking to stay away from call centers unless you're desperate. Getting off the phones and moving to another position is also difficult as they have what's called loan roles. Where you try another position for about a month and then you got to go back to the phones. It's almost as if management wants to keep their CSR's in a call center prison.

Pros

Only pros - wfh and you get a nice discount

Cons

Everything else. Management/corporate have unrealistic kpis. You can only use the rr during your SCHEDULED break. You have to offer a sale to EVERY CALLER even if they are already upset. You can NOT hang up even if the customer is screaming/offending you. My manager once said I should’ve been more patient. Mind you the customer was already using foul language and belittling me. I POLITELY asked the customer to please refrain from using that kind of language. It continued and I told her I would have to release the call. Also you stop getting a raise after 2 years. You cap at $17/hr.
