Pros

On a personal note I came from a completely unrelated work background and within 3 years went from an entry level sales role to Conference Director. On the sales side of the business there is the ability for uncapped earnings potential. It is a work hard, play hard culture that does nurture and support their employees and I can whole heartedly claim that this organization has some of the best people I've ever had the pleasure of working with which makes all the difference on a day in, day out basis. Room for personal growth/ creativity/ management will recognize a job well done/ very open door policy where there is always someone to go to/ If you're involved in the live events you get to travel a little and the live events are super fun!/ Quartz is a very well established events business which now has a rapidly growing software offering leading to tons of opportunity for growth and advancement. During the year of the pandemic when other event businesses were decimated, we grew from roughly 30 employees to well over 100 - if that's any indication of the strength of leadership at the organization. Would highly recommend working here to anyone who might be interested.

Cons

Rocket ship growth which has the regular strains associated with such.

Pros

In my opinion, the biggest pro is the extended holiday PTO break.

Cons

In my opinion, the poor management and lack of a clear vision for the future are causing issues at this organization. There is a lot of pressure placed on reps to achieve aggressive sales targets, bring in net new business through outbound cold calling and emailing, but the organization seems to have fundamental issues that must be solved if they want thrive and scale, which they seem to have no intention of fixing.
