Pros

Rare mix of big ideas, bigger ambitions, and enough engineering talent and organizational support to actually pull it off. Everyone is excited about the work and happy to teach if you ask. The company lives in Slack, so it's a good place to work remote and about a third of employees do. Denver is a great place to live and work. Benefits are better than most startups.

Cons

Work-life balance can be hard around deadlines. Some people work all the time by choice, and it can be difficult to unplug when they're always going. Some of the founders left in late 2018 and for a while there was high turnover and uncertainty about the product roadmap. Multiple senior hires in 2019 have helped management mature and improved the company's prospects.

Pros

Incredibly smart and thoughtful coworkers and leadership that are willing to take the time to explain difficult concepts. The level of coworkers pushes me to do my best work. Leadership is very transparent about the company which is refreshing.

Cons

Being such a nascent industry means things can change on a dime leaving employees to adjust very quickly which is not necessarily a con for a certain kind of person.

Pros

While the exec team is younger than most, I've found them to be refreshingly growth-minded and thoughtful. They take feedback seriously, and then make changes where necessary. I'm happy to be at a company that is devoted to building something truly enduring and it's refreshing to be working with a CEO who is focused on the long game as opposed to someone who is entrenched in the short-term hype-cycle. I found my recruitment to the company to be unique and curated. I had the opportunity to work from Radar for a few weeks before ultimately deciding to come here and the fact that I left here happy every day was a huge indicator for me. Their investors are top notch and meaningfully support the company/exec team. It's a pleasure to be able to work with technologists that are building tech at the forefront while working with an exec team that is focused on building an enduring company and culture - not just another flash-in-the-pan startup.

Cons

The ratio of junior employees to managers has been lopsided, but the team has acknowledged this and is actively working to change it by leveling-up managers and recruiting more senior folks.
