Stay Away! New CEO Still has not cleaned house w/ US Management - Anonymous employee RES Software Employee Review

Pros

Decent product, but too much overlap with what larger companies are already doing and customers are already invested with those larger more established companies. Much better private/pre-ipo companies out there to work for!

Cons

U.S. Management treats their employees terribly. I have watched RES Management treat employees very unethically and with no respect. I have also watched management get rid of very good people one week after praising them the week and months before. Very talented and experienced people are also leaving on their own due to the poor market outlook and bad management and culture. The HR department in the US is lead by very inexperienced people. If the CEO does not clean house in the U.S. management team and start fresh soon, they will continue to lose people that will no longer put up with the awful culture and management and gain a bad reputation in the industry with both potential candidates and customers.

Pros

The core group of leaders and people are good solid people. They are always trying to do right by the company, the staff, and the customers. The culture is really good ( at least on the technical side) and overall there is a sense that there is something amazing that is growing. They take good care of my family through great benefits, they give me the resources i need to be successful. I feel like the reward me fairly for the work that i do and the goals that i accomplish.

Cons

They are a global organization with great aspirations, this causes a perception of pains where none exist. I have seen most all of these issues be addressed , and the remaining have a plan that has been presented to the employees. I'm not being a homer. But the good outweighs the bad by a significant margin. There are ups and downs, politics, and pressures of every organization in the world. It's impossible to please everyone, but they have done a good job addressing any and all pressing issues.
