Pros

Great benefits, lots of travel for those who desire it, highly intelligent colleagues, casual work environment, intellectually stimulating work.

Cons

Egregiously poor management, top-heavy with former McKinsey partners who are over-paid and can basically never be fired, and have little incentive to perform well. The work is interesting, but much of it is pure fantasy.

Pros

Used to be a highly respected organization, used to be very supportive and flexible towards employees, quality of the job and leadership attitude towards employee needs has severely degraded

Cons

No opportunity for advancement or promotion. Everyone is expected to work beyond their job title for at least a year before even being considered for promotion, with promotion still being contingent on funding and not merit. Experience is very dependent on your manager, but there are very few competent managers available, and leadership generally lacks people skills and fails to give consideration to the needs of their employees. The new rotational associate program is ineffective and predator, taking advantage of overly qualified employees in entry level, underpaid positions.
