Very destructive way of giving feedback by the program leads. The facilitators are the face of the organisation, and are yet treated like dirt sometimes. The performance feedback is provided out in the open for everyone to hear despite there being small conference rooms where some privacy and respect can be maintained. Program leads themselves dont know ground realities the way facilitators do but feel its their right to gossip about everyone and give feedback insultingly. There is only one hr person who again couldnt care less about you once you're leaving. Most of your energy will go into worrying about who is gossiping about who, and which program lead is going inside the directors cabin to gossip about others. The director is hardly seen in office and has appointed a senior person to be their puppet and continue the games. Also like someone had mentioned before...you cannot find proper records of the work that has been done ... and how can you even, when its mostly about surviving through politics and not through your work. The director has visited one, maybe two underprivileged schools and feels they are in a position to address the big problems because they have now seen it all - it doesn't work that way, ask someone who's been on the ground doing the actual work after surviving all the gossip and drama in the organisation. Even the program leads have not done any core ground work and are busy exploiting people. Stay in the company by putting others down is the trick. I am sorry to say but I would never ever recommend such an organisation to anyone. Having the money to start a foundation and the funds to hire people does not equate to actually doing quality work and this organisation is a classic example of it.
