Pros

Company culture great. Everyone really cares about their events. Work hard/play hard onsite culture. Everyone grows really close in a show team. Flexible work and working from home. Lots of travel opportunities Flexibility to stay in traveled to country for a holiday 25 holiday plus Christmas to New year off plus bank Holidays and option to buy 5 more days. Nice office based in Richmond and not city. Work for high profile and amazing leading events/exhibitions.

Cons

Pay is poor Professional growth low/no L&D budget Internal promotions low/no succession planning positions (they cut exec or deputy positions from the company). Annual pay increase less than inflation No great benefit perks other than travel opps and wfh. If you work onsite you do not get the hours back, only a weekend back if you work weekends. So you can end up working 15 hour days for the same wage. This massively affects operation and build teams. You cannot lower your hours if you need to support family. Did I mention pay rises were less than inflation?

Pros

Opportunity for growth within the company, great focus on not only retaining but growing inhouse talent. Tons of different sales roles to apply for. Ability to work remote full time.

Cons

Perhaps not the most competitive salary initially but can easily work your way into one.

Pros

The hybrid work model, I guess?

Cons

Do yourself a favor and filter this section to only the 1 star and 2 star reviews, because those are the only accurate reviews, at least for RX Global in the Norwalk office. At RX, you are overworked, but also underpaid and undervalued. Employees at this company are just a number. You are paid a comically low salary, no overtime, and HORRIBLE benefits, all for them to use and abuse you. You are expected to work overtime throughout the entire year. You are not only expected to travel for your own shows, but you are also required to volunteer for other shows and attend other external events throughout the year, that always fall over weekends. Have a good idea? Something that can propel the business forward? Doesn't matter! Unless you are VP level or above, your ideas are worth nothing— If anything, they're laughed at. On that note, unless you are VP level or above, not only do you have no autonomy, but you are essentially a dumping ground for admin work. And last but not least, the company culture is one consisting of gossip. Be prepared to be gaslit, micromanaged, and emotionally manipulated if you consider working here. Oh also, non-existent growth opportunities!
