Pros
People I worked with outside of Austin
Cons
I do not recommend working for this company I worked here for over 6 years, and my experience was deeply disappointing. Here are the main reasons: 1. Low salary. Salary increases were minimal, and even those were delayed. Over six years, my salary remained at a junior developer level. 2. One person for all roles. The company expects one person to handle everything: frontend, backend, complete project knowledge, and even design. There is no division of work into teams, leading to overwhelming workloads. 3. Lack of technical support. The company did not provide a single computer during my time there. I had to work on my own equipment, which I replaced three times at my own expense. Moreover, I offered my personal computer for testing purposes, but I didn’t even receive a thank-you. 4. Constant chaos in processes. There’s no clear strategy: tasks and requirements change weekly, forcing you to constantly redo work already completed during the sprint. 5. Termination without notice. I was let go right before the New Year without any two-month notice, leaving me no time to find a new job or prepare for interviews. This company seems to value endless discussions during meetings over actual work. If you’re looking for professional growth, fair compensation, and respect for your efforts, I recommend finding another employer.
