Pros

They function like any other Agency in town - beer in the kitchen, unlimited PTO, hybrid model, etc. That is a pro for some people.

Cons

Currently on a firing streak, like most Agencies these days, Hire to fire. I don't believe that Raka is good a place to start a career, or even continue building one. They do not nourish their employees, and a basketball game in the office or beer on keg doesn't count as nourishing. Majorly lacking professionalism from some of their Partners and Managers, including inappropriate behavior with no repercussions. Lots of hotheads just lacking basic emotional intelligence and decent respect for their peers. They'll talk behind your back before they give you any actual feedback to benefit you and your career.

Pros

You're surrounded by smart people who for the most part are talented and good at what they do. Work from home flexibility. Dogs in the office!

Cons

From day one there were plenty of red flags. New hires are thrown to the wolves with very little training. It was less than two weeks before I was client facing and had a full plate of work. My manager was clearly stretched thin and too stressed to offer helpful support. There was major turnover during my short time with the company, it seemed like someone left every other week. The owners were slow to hire replacements which led to many people taking on the work of others for extended periods of time. Employee moral was very low due to high workloads and bad management. The team of directors is very cliquey and clearly play favorites which alienates certain team members. The biggest red flag is that management never took responsibility for their role in the chaos and would gaslight employees when concerns were brought up to make it seem like they were the problem. I for one struggled due to lack of training and on boarding but was told it was all on me and wasn't given a clear path towards improvement. Please be aware this is the not the happy place that's portrayed on their website for new hires. If you can handle high stress, lack of recognition, and toxic coworkers you can succeed here but it comes at a major cost.
