Pros
No pros at all. May be HR Dept.
Cons
Hostile Work Environment People here are treated as if they are slaves. New hires and juniors are treated poorly and subjected to verbal abuse, creating a stressful work environment. People are scolded and shouted at for small mistakes, just like in school. Your probation period might be extended infinitely with a just a word from someone who feels threatened by the new joiner. Management does not have proper policies in place to evaluate people in their probation period. One fine day some lead with not much experience would recommend a pink slip in a leadership meeting. Such regular occurrences should be considered negative on the leader suggesting pink slips. Strict work hours are enforced, preventing employees from leaving even after completing their tasks. The management team seems detached from reality and dismissive of employees' concerns, where they will listen to your issues but won't act on it. Annual reviews are a farce where employees’ sick leaves are counted as negative points, implying that taking unplanned sick leaves is excessive. Its like a friend circle owned enterprise HR policies or even employee performance etc are biased. You might be paid more than what you are getting outside, but it feels like getting hammered every day for each penny being paid. They have a closed knit group of employees who are exempt from everything but a small deviation for others invites harassment from their leads or a potential dismissal. They believe that the only things one can learn are negative qualities such as being a bad manager or team player. Additionally, the programming practices implemented in projects are amateurish and of average quality, offering no real benefit for future endeavors. But that's personal opinion. Some people in this organization show attitude like they are Bjarne Stroustrup. You will hear mostly freshers claiming getting to learn things, but that's not the case, it's a technical degradation once you join the company. This option would have been ok may be 7-10 years ago. If you're a fresher of thinking of joining this company for learning opportunities, best option to learn would be by doing side projects. There is a significant amount of content present on online, where you can learn some good skills. Recommendation Avoid this company at all costs. You will be stuck in an endless loop of learning bad things and feeling like stuck in a jail.
