Pros

Can’t even think of one

Cons

If I could give 0 stars, I genuinely would. I started my career at Reed in 2023, and my experience was overwhelmingly negative. I was consistently overworked and underappreciated — expected to be available most evenings, weekends, and even during annual leave. Despite being off, I was regularly contacted on WhatsApp by my manager, which made it impossible to properly switch off. The environment felt highly pressurised, and at times, I experienced behaviour that I would describe as bullying. This had a serious impact on my mental health, leading to severe anxiety. During a very difficult period in my personal life, including the passing of a parent, I felt there was little to no support from the team. The company promotes itself as people-focused, but in reality, it felt like a corporate environment with little regard for employee wellbeing or respect. It’s honestly shocking to see the awards Reed receives given the lack of genuine care for staff. Even after leaving the company, I continued to receive unwanted messages from my manager, which felt intrusive and unprofessional. There are also very few perks, and the commission structure is not competitive compared to others in the industry. My advice: avoid this company.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Recruitment of course has a level of sales skills required and we acknowledge it's not for everyone.
