Pros

Ability to learn cooperate structure Can learn a wide range of bio technical skills Can be fun place to work with the right people A great resume builder as you really can develop a lot of different skills in the role. 3 day weekends. Good food, benefits, and ample company “gifts”

Cons

Pay is not competitive to justify the location, and long hours. Some management are racists. Higher level management made bad decisions about the management that would be underneath them and can’t move them despite many finding issues with them. Favoritism. Career Development system is vague to allow for management to choose their favorites. Moving targets. They take advantage of a bunch of 23 yr olds happy to be out and in the work force. Make them feel like the company is ripe with opportunity while they have no intentions of moving them up, or investing in them. A revolving door. The new D&I spheal is a smokescreen, middle management does NOT care.

Amazing Work culture as well as Guidance.

Cons

Work as an intern is very repetitive unless trying to expand and work on other project.

Pros

Good pay and benefits. Flexibility of work hours.

Cons

If you're in the wrong group, it's a struggle to get autonomy even when you ask for more oversight of a group or project because micromanaging is an issue. I feel trapped where I am and growth has been stagnant. They also hold a mistake against you for years. Management afraid to give constructive criticism.
