Pros

You get exposed to a lot more than you would at any other company because it’s so small and you often have to wear multiple hats. You can find coworkers that are on your side and you can band together to vent, help each other out, and get through the day.

Cons

I wouldn’t recommend this job to anyone, and it’s no coincidence that their turnover rate is about 200%. The owner is extremely rude, hard to deal with, and has an ego that can’t be contained. He has no respect for his employees, doesn’t know how to manage a company, and will expect you to work like you’re an owner too - yet barely pays you over minimum wage.

Pros

REV Publishing is a good place to work. There is a great team environment and all of my colleagues are ready and willing to share in order to help me be successful at my job. Management gives us just enough room to be independent in what we do. I don't feel as though I'm being micro-managed nor do I feel as though management is breathing down my neck. If you do your job, then you'll be just fine.

Cons

As in any job, there just don't seem to be enough hours in the day to complete what we need to. But as I said, it's like that in any job.

Pros

Learning about the advertising industry was amazing experience. Connections with clients. Great hours! But that's really it. To be honest there were not too many positives.

Cons

Low pay, even lower commission potential. All accounts handed over have been recycled, with low probability of renewing. HUGE turnover for sales staff. No expenses paid, with the expectation of using your own vehicle on company time. Complete waste of time if you are looking to build a career. Owner prides himself on tuning staff over and thinks there will always be another hungry person to work for nothing. No matter what they tell you, run! They will waste your time, they will promise lots of potential in commission, but it's all smoke and mirrors.
