Pros
Location and building amenities are not bad. Everything else sucks..
Cons
If you want to work in a no-future, no expectations environment, then this is your place. Technology wise this place is a pre-historic cavern, and don't get fooled, they still use main frames..workstations are the crappiest pc's you have ever seen, I mean, Chinatown market has better ones. The worst, management is live image of a mafia family, your life there will be a vegetative state where you will learn ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, and at the moment you leave the Co. you will become a disgrace. Ryder has a policy to not give you references for other employment opportunities, and it will not re-hire you the moment you leave the company, no matter how beneficial your tech knowledge could be for them. My manager almost threaten me the moment I said I was leaving for another company, he tried to coerce me to stay but refused to even talk about contract re-negotiation. To be clear, you will be harassed, pressured for the most idiotic details. Once I brought a hoodie and that almost cost me my job!. I know it's tempting, and from outside they look completely different, but believe me...stay away.. Management will not treat you fairly, or pay fairly or give you any fair chance to grow as a professional.
