      Pros

      Good benefits. Ok compensation. Good work life balance. Great coworkers. Has pension and matching 401k. Time off is pretty good.

      Cons

      Micro management is common in some areas and unrealistic expectations and goals are placed on teams and individuals rather than identifying realistic and achievable goals. Forced rankings for annual merit increases is ridiculous. Merit is more based on where you are on the pay scale than how you actually perform. This causes a lot of seasoned people to check out.

      Pros

      SRP gave me stability, experience, and the chance to build real skills. I had positive experiences there, and I’m grateful for parts of it. But I’m also realizing that the environment doesn’t always operate from a positive or growth-minded place, and I have to be honest about what that has cost me

      Cons

      The con is not that SRP is a bad place. The con is that it can give you stability and experience, but not always a clear or fair feeling of movement. You can give a lot, build a lot, and still feel like you’re waiting for someone to finally see it
