Pros

i have no set position, and move about primarily in the clothing production line. this is not extremely common for employees at my store, but i really enjoy this aspect of working here. the most time i have spent in one area is a week solid. the day goes by fairly quickly. i really enjoy having a fixed work schedule as well, it makes it easy to plan other things on my days off. most of my senior co workers are always ready to help explain operations around the store, and explain things they have learned and experienced in their time here and it makes for a friendly environment. being a regular thrift shopper outside of work, i live for my discount. i use it at other store locations every chance i get. overall, this job may not be for everyone, but it works for ME. i don't really mind the grittiness that comes with being in production, i like that my duties are varied and far more hands on than standing at a register. ive been here half a year, and all things considered, can see myself staying here for a long time. if you WANT to work, it will be noticed, in my experience.

Cons

high turnover- its hard to get into a consistent flow because of constant new employees with various levels of training. this also puts a fear of job security in the air. management is rarely on the same page, and some managers work MUCH harder, and efficiently, than others. we are often faced with shortages of supplies needed for work, hangers, dumpster, ect, but still expected to make quota. quotas are often unrealistic to meet, hence bonusing is very rare. district managers impose changes that are sometimes counterproductive to the way our individual store functions. health and safety risks are frequently downplayed. it IS a dirty job, make no mistake.

Pros

It's a Job I guess

Cons

The pay is just over minimum wage. There is no work life balance they don't offer holiday pay and require you to work on all holidays except for Christmas and Thanksgiving. They constantly add new thing to the job and will never give you a pay raise or advancement. All around bad company that's taking advantage of working class Americans.
