Pros
Great if you love thrift stores, Awesome employee discount, Paid holidays and birthday, Paid sick days, Paid vacation after 1 year
Cons
Low pay, Dirty hazardous work, Unrealistic expectations: Their style of motivation is to assign goals and tasks that are impossible to accomplish as a way to get employees to work faster. However, it causes great stress, anxiety, and frustration. The great bonuses, medical and dental benefits, and 401k they hype about during your interview and orientation are only available to full time employees SCHEDULED TO WORK at least 32 hrs per week. After completing your first 30 day probationary period, your hours scheduled are cut to 30 or 31 hrs. However, they will ask you to work on days off and to work late - you may work 40 hrs per week, but since you are only scheduled for less than 32, you are classified as a Part Time employee and therefore aren't eligible for any of the benefits and only get 50% of any cash bonuses paid. Raises are given every 6 months during your employee evaluation. The amount of your raise is determined by a worksheet that is filled out by your supervisor. If you meet all expectations satisfactorily, you get a ten cent raise. If you exceed ALL expectations (nobody does), you get a 20 cent raise.
