      Some coworkers are very cool.

      Run away from this company. This company is a joke! The business owner is such a shady guy and do not trust him. They do not like to document anything. A lot of people working there are incompetent for their positions. No one wants to take responsibilities. Work environment is toxic. The business owner feels he is a King in his company and wants to do whatever he wants. They do not care about employees at all. A lot of people came and left - very high employee turnover rate. Poor management, no direction, no structure, no company culture, very unprofessional, no job satisfaction and no growth. The wage is lower than the market average. Do not look for jobs in Santee and El Cajon which are dream-go-to-die areas.

      As the owner of Scentco, I take a lot of pride in how positive the environment is here. It's a testament to the people who make up this business and flourish within it. It's unfortunate when we have to let someone go from the company, because it impacts their life. I know losing your job hurts; I've lost a job or two in my past before starting this company. But it's particularly disheartening when that person decides to throw everyone under the bus with a post like this.

      A few nice coworkers and completely casual attire is allowed (flip flops and tank tops even)

      Owner is a childish narcissist that has his favorites and is misogynistic and highly inappropriate. Have a problem with that? HR is a singular individual who sits in an open office a few feet away from his desk, so you may as well be reporting his behavior directly to him. The upstairs office lacks any ventilation despite the fact that the company exclusively creates, stores, and sells scented and potentially toxic products that can make you feel sick after spending 40 hours in the small space. I could go on forever, but it's not even worth my time.
