Good People - Not So Good Company - VP of Sales Scott Fetzer Employee Review

Where i work the place is great. Easy to work with people, supportive team, and little drama. Great work schedule, 4 days, 10 hour shifts. Sometimes overtime on Friday, but still have plenty time off.

Working HQ, can be stressful, but not terrible. Supply changes are a hassle, but it's true everywhere.

I have been a full-time employee with Scott Fetzer for years, and I respectfully disagree with some of your opinions. I feel valued in my role as an employee at Scott Fetzer and agree with you that our company provides for great work-life balance. I am well-compensated and believe that our benefits are substantial and as good as (or better than) those of comparable companies. I have never felt micro-managed by our CEO, for whom I have great respect. I have witnessed multiple employees advance within the Corporate Office as well as to opportunities at our various divisions. While there are things that I would like to see improve, I would strongly recommend employment with Scott Fetzer to a friend (and have done so in the past). I believe that Scott Fetzer is a great company with a long history and a bright future, and I am thankful to work here. I am sorry that you do not agree.

Scott Fetzer is a diversified manufacturing company, and as such, operates in a challenging market. It makes work challenging and unpredictable on a day-to-day basis, but I find that to be enjoyable.
