Pros

If you're young, just getting started in your career and looking to build your skills in the following, this is a great job for you. - Campaign creation & management - Budgeting & allocations across paid media channels - Client communication & relationship building

Cons

The company is very young. Most employees (apx. 80%) have been there 3 years or less joining the company either straight from college graduation or after 1 job, (they built team back up after pandemic), & most all employees have been promoted within (and up the ladder in a very short period of time). It seems like most promotions happened out of necessity, not because those individuals were overly skilled or developed in their career. Most individuals in leadership or management roles don't have the right training and this is their first time leading a team. And management styles are vastly different across the teams and departments. Great at your job? Expect your work load to increase without plans for growth or raises. And delegation is handed out without reasoning or conversation.

Pros

I really enjoyed working at SP. Leadership is great and really values employees, their ideas, and their growth. They treat their employees with importance, they are more than just a number. The company culture is excellent, everyone is extremely hard working and dedicated to their work. Monthly happy hours are hosted by SP and are a good time to relax and connect with coworkers. This company is really innovative and always staying ahead of the curve.

Cons

Lack of work/life balance was ultimately the reason I left.

Pros

There's not much to say other than false promises of career growth, fake friendliness, and lying about how often you will need to be in office to new employees. Perhaps a saving grace is some of my coworkers were cool.

Cons

This company is spiraling downward and all they're doing to try and fix it is turning this place of employment into a dictatorship where you're executed if you make a small mistake. Any mistake you make (I'm talking spelling errors or being 10 minutes late, one time) will be held as grounds to fire you whenever they see fit, even if it's months later. Big red flags: several firings other than me over the last few months with a few more people quitting. The people at the top seem to be acting on fear that anyone talented who's making a positive impact in the company is a danger for their job, so they create reasons out of thin air to fire them. Also, there's a super weird and toxic power dynamic held by those at the top. A small handful of people in their 30s and 40s are managers and are in charge of mostly people fresh out of college. Ultimately these people don't respect the ones doing the grunt work and want to maintain their power. I don't know if it's unresolved trauma or something that's manifesting in the workplace but it's giving middle school principal vibes that are looking for a reason to give you detention in the form of a PIP. Word of advice - if you do make the mistake of working here, when you get a surprise "check in" meeting on your calendar at 7am about something minor, 6 months into working there, start looking for other employment. On a very serious note this company is headed in a bad direction financially and your pay will probably reflect that. I had friends with unfulfilled bonuses that were previously promised. They are holding more and more 'pow wow' meetings to try and rile up morale but this is indicative of a company flailing out of control, and they're pushing all the wrong buttons to try and regain control.
