Pros

You get good free stuff , work with some amazing people and artists , lots of education.

Cons

Everyone is underpaid. Everyone works more than they should except Store directors and some specialists, who tend to be superstars. Rarely come on stage, think they're better than anyone and don't listen or respect your ideas or opinions. And all of that in a fake " I care for you" or " I'm setting you up for success" way. Elevated artists can never execute their role because the staff working is so little they have to be everywhere, even at the fragrances wall. You get the title, not the pay or the right work, so it makes you very very frustrated. Clients steal, yell at you, curse at you, and you have to put up with it , shut up, take it and keep smiling. You can't even recover a stolen product that you know it was stolen, so you constantly feel harassed and diminished. You get "coached" for trying to do right and help others. Everyone is extremely OVERWORKED and appreciation is just for the client. But the client can't feel it because we are always understaffed so no one gets the deserved attention. The corporate comes up with ideas of new services but realistically you kill yourself to execute it because there's never enough cast members to assist clients and everybody gets stressed out and irritated, and overworked !!!!! It is insane to work for this company. Good values, good ideas, but only theory. In reality, lies.

Pros

fun getting gratis and hosting in-store events, meeting brand ambassadors/managers, socializing with clients

Cons

manager created a weird environment -- coaching moments were sometimes extremely aggressive for a retail environment; strict on not applying makeup to clients unless they purchase a service. once made me move from a disabled client quickly because I was "spending too much time with them" and to further boost the store sales. felt extremely unethical.
