I owned my own business for 14 years so I'm very familiar with how to provide great customer service. The problem with Shipt as stated by several others is the customers will unfairly rate you and then there's literally nothing you can do about it. I had 2 customers tip me and we're happy with me but not with Shipt so one gave me a 3 and one a 4 instead of a 5. When I explained that the reason one of them probably did it is because the store did not carry 75% of what they ordered. I spoke to management at the store who basically stated they didn't know why it was listed as being available at the store in this town. I also delivered a lot in the rain...up flights of stairs...for people who in the end leave bad ratings because they are paying more so they expect perfection even if it's not your fault. Then these ratings determine how many orders you are offered. Really fair !!!! Also...even if you state when you apply that you are only interested can in one town...you will revceive texts trying to get you to travel an hour away. Yes I received several trying to get me to drive 45 min or more. AND if you turn these down...it affects your acceptance rate which ALSO determined how many orders you are offered. THEN added to this is GOOD Luck getting anyone at Shipt to help you out. They state that you can call their number anytime. I tried a few times and the wait is so long they automatically tell you their advice is to always go online and do online chat....we'll both times I tried chat I was told they really couldn't help and I would need to email shiptsupport. Well 1-2 days later I would get a response. Horrible horrible
